Neelou is a journalist, writer, and content creator based in Houston, Texas, currently serving as Senior Copywriter at Mattress Firm.

With years of writing, producing and videography experience, she has interviewed notable figures like Steven Spielberg, Jack Black, and Chris Pine. Previously, she worked at ABC 13 Houston (KTRK) and KHOU 11’s Great Day Houston, writing, editing, and producing digital and broadcast content alongside talent and production teams.

In 2017, Neelou launched her YouTube channel, where she manages all production, filming, and editing, amassing over 700k unique views to date.

A Houston native, Neelou earned an International Baccalaureate diploma at The Village School before completing a B.A. in Media Production with a minor in Spanish at the University of Houston in just two years.

Fluent in Farsi and Spanish, Neelou spent a summer studying in Madrid, furthering her love of languages. In her free time, she enjoys cheering on her favorite soccer team, watching documentaries, interior design projects, and hunting for antiques.
