Goodarzi started her career in broadcast television at Houston’s ABC and CBS affiliates, where she helped produce live newscasts and worked closely with reporters and anchors. She has interviewed major talent like Steven Spielberg and Jack Black and produced written and on-camera movie reviews.

Today, Goodarzi is the Senior Writer at Mattress Firm, where she crafts branded content across web, email and social, and helps lead the concepting and execution of large-scale marketing campaigns. Whether it’s writing marketing copy or scripting and producing videos, she thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven creative environments.

In 2017, Goodarzi launched a YouTube channel focused on film, journalism and media analysis. With over 730,000 views and 4,800+ subscribers, her videos explore everything from physical media and streaming trends to the shifting landscape of news and entertainment.

Fluent in Farsi and Spanish, Goodarzi studied abroad in Madrid before earning a degree in Media Production and a minor in Spanish from the University of Houston.
