Neelou Goodarzi is a journalist, writer and content creator based in Houston, Texas. She currently serves as Senior Copywriter for Mattress Firm and Sleep.com.

With years of on-camera experience, Neelou has interviewed artists like Steven Spielberg, Jack Black, Chris Pine and more. Previously, she worked at broadcast news stations ABC 13 Houston (KTRK) and KHOU 11’s Great Day Houston, where she helped write, edit and produce both show and digital content, working closely with talent and production staff. 

In 2017, Neelou started her own YouTube channel—doing all of the production, filming and editing work from start to finish—and has gained more than 500k unique views since.

Neelou grew up in Houston, Texas and attended The Village School, where she graduated with an International Baccalaureate diploma. She then attended the University of Houston and graduated in two years with a B.A. in Media Production and a minor in Spanish.

Harboring a lifelong love of languages, Neelou is fluent in Farsi and Spanish—and spent a summer abroad in Madrid to study it. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on her favorite soccer team, watching documentaries, interior designing, and shopping for antiques.
